Dos and Don’ts of Personal Online Marketing

1. Make sure you supply an accurate email address for each contact and that you spell their name correctly in your database. We will copy it exactly the way you submit it. Home email addresses are often more effective than business ones.

2. Make sure you use a photo that is professional as well as current. You want to be recognizable to your clients when they see you. If you have a picture on your website, we can use this one in many cases, if preferred.

3. Consistency is the KEY! Plan your budget, chose your target audience, and then stick with them. Once your sphere of influence is hooked, you need to remain committed to providing them with your informative newsletter each month. Inconsistency is worse than no marketing effort at all. You make it happen, we make it easy for you.

4. Keep your database current. You can make as many changes as you need for free. Take advantage of this and keep your contact list growing. Just email your changes to updates@surecontact.com by the 15th of the month prior to release for them to be in effect for the next emailing of the newsletter.

5. Be prepared to invest in your own business. For all businesses to succeed, they must invest in advertising and marketing. Investing in YOUR business is really investing into your future success.
