A/B Test Campaigns  New

You can now create A/B test campaigns in SureContact to optimize your email performance. Test different subject lines, content, or designs by sending variants to a percentage of your audience, then automatically or manually select the winning version.

Example

  • Variant A → 20% audience
  • Variant B → 20% audience
  • Best-performing variant → Automatically sent to remaining 60%

Benefit: Improve open rates, clicks, and conversions by sending only the most effective emails.

Automation Version History  New

Every time you update or activate an automation, a new version is saved. You can track changes over time and revert to any previous version whenever needed.

Example

  • Version 1 → Initial workflow
  • Version 2 → Added delay step
  • Version 3 → Updated email content
  • → Revert back to Version 1 anytime

Benefit: Safely experiment with automation changes without the risk of losing previous setups.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) New

Secure your account with Multi-Factor Authentication using either Email OTP or an Authenticator App (TOTP).

Pending and failed WooCommerce orders were incorrectly being recorded as purchases. They are now excluded from valid purchase conditions, ensuring accurate customer segmentation and reliable automation triggers.

  • Editing Email Templates Inline in Automation – You can now edit email templates directly inside Automations → Actions → Send Email action flyout. No need to create or edit templates separately before setting up automation.
  • Campaign Analysis with AI – Added automatic AI analysis while creating campaigns to prevent violence, spam, harassment, or restricted content. If such content is detected, the campaign cannot be sent. It also checks whether an unsubscribe link is present.
  • MCP Integrations – Added MCP support to the platform. You can now connect the SureContact MCP server with AI clients like Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT, Windsurf, Claude Code CLI, or others, and control SureContact operations directly from those tools.
  • OttoKit Embedding – OttoKit is now embedded inside SureContact. You can create workflows using SureContact triggers and other actions without leaving the platform.
  • Contact Import Overwrite Option – Added a checkbox next to each field during contact import to control whether imported data should overwrite existing contact data.
  • Dynamic List Filters – Added Email Open and Click filters in Dynamic Lists.

Improvements

  • The platform is now responsive on mobile and tablet devices. You can check contacts and other data on mobile. However, we recommend using the web version for the best experience.
  • In Automations → Contact Unsubscribed Trigger, multiple unsubscribe sources can now be selected.

Fixes

  • Fixed a global issue where if an account had lists but no tags (or vice versa), selecting a list in the Add to List dropdown under WordPress integrations would appear empty after saving and reopening the flyout.
  • Fixed an issue where scheduled emails showed the correct time in the summary, but displayed a 7-hour difference when opened (e.g., 6:11 PM MST instead of 11:11 AM MST). The scheduled time now correctly reflects the timezone.

New: Double Opt-In, Brand Settings & Many Improvements

New

  • Double Opt-In Support
    A new Double Opt-In option is now available in Settings. When enabled, contacts added from sources such as API, WordPress integrations/forms, manual entry, or automation webhooks will be created with a Pending status.
    Emails can only be sent after the contact confirms via the opt-in email.
    You can also choose which sources should use Double Opt-In.
  • Gravatar Support
    Contacts with a Gravatar image will now display their profile image on the Contacts page and inside the individual contact view.
    This also applies to your account profile photo.
  • Brand Settings
    Customize your brand identity directly from Settings:
    • Logo
    • Colors
    • Typography
    • Button styles
      These settings are applied automatically to all email templates.

Improvements

  • Added support for creating Custom Activities inside individual contact profiles.
  • Added an optional Title field for Notes.
  • Improved date and time picker while scheduling campaigns, including visibility of time remaining before send.
  • Contacts are now visible when clicking on a List or Tag.
