What's New in SureContact

Campaign Categories, Configurable Booking Fields & a Unified Preference Center

New Features

Campaign Categories New

You can now group your campaigns into categories and let contacts opt out of a category without unsubscribing from everything.

Create your own categories in Settings, under Campaign Categories, each with a name, description, and color, and mark one as the default for new campaigns. When you build a campaign, pick its category in the settings step. Contacts can then choose which categories they want to keep receiving on their preferences page, so someone can stop your newsletters while still getting your product updates. Recipient counts take these choices into account, so your estimated audience already reflects who has opted out of that category.

Example

  • Separate your newsletters, product updates, and promotions into categories.
  • Let a contact opt out of one type of email without leaving your list entirely.
  • Set a default category that new campaigns start with.
  • See a recipient count that already excludes people who opted out of that category.

This gives your contacts finer control over what they hear from you, which helps keep them subscribed.

Unified Preference Center New

There is now a single preference page where contacts can manage everything about the emails they receive from you, in one place.

The new page brings together list subscriptions, email category choices, and tracking consent, with a clearly visible “Unsubscribe from all emails” option kept as a secondary action. Contacts land on a preferences-first screen rather than a bare unsubscribe page, so they are more likely to adjust what they receive instead of opting out completely. Your existing unsubscribe and preferences links keep working exactly as before.

Example

  • Give contacts one link to manage all their email preferences.
  • Let someone fine-tune their subscriptions instead of unsubscribing outright.
  • Keep tracking consent and category choices together with list subscriptions.
  • Offer a clear, single place for contacts to control what they get.

This turns the unsubscribe moment into a chance to keep the relationship rather than lose it.

Configurable Booking Fields New

You can now collect extra information on your booking form, set per event type, beyond the standard name, email, phone, and notes.

Open an event type and use the new Booking Fields tab to add the questions you want to ask. You can pick from a set of standard fields or any of your workspace’s custom fields, and mark each one as required or optional. The fields then appear on the public booking widget for that event type, and the answers are saved with the booking.

Example

  • Ask for a company name or job title when someone books a demo.
  • Collect a phone number and a project detail on a consultation booking.
  • Make key questions required so you have the information before the call.
  • Use different questions for different types of meeting.

This lets you gather what you need up front, so you are ready before the meeting starts.

Improvements

Multi-Language Booking Widget and Pages Improved

Your public booking widget and hosted booking pages now display in your visitor’s language, across 22 supported languages.

The booking widget, the hosted booking pages, and the reschedule and cancel pages all pick up the right language automatically, based on the visitor’s browser or the page settings, including right-to-left languages. Dates, times, and day names are formatted for each language too. English pages look exactly as they did before, and existing embed setups keep working with no changes needed.

Example

  • Let visitors book in their own language automatically.
  • Offer booking pages that read correctly in right-to-left languages.
  • Show dates and times formatted the way each visitor expects.
  • Keep your current booking embed working without any changes.

This makes your booking experience feel local to visitors wherever they are.

Bug Fixes

Form Date Fields Now Save in the Correct Format Fixed

Fixed an issue where dates submitted through connected forms in a day/month/year format (such as dd/mm/yyyy) could reach SureContact with the day and month swapped, or fail to save at all. Dates are now read using the format the form actually uses, so a date like 07/09/2026 is stored correctly as 7 September 2026, and invalid dates are no longer saved as raw text. This applies to forms such as SureForms and Fluent Forms. Note that dates stored incorrectly before this fix are not corrected automatically and may need to be re-checked.
